| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Tania Lynn Toler, who passed away on June | 4 | | 8, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Tania Toler was born in Chicago on September 29, | 6 | | 1957; she was raised by her mother, Theodora "Toi", her father, | 7 | | Frederick Toler, and her step-father, Billy Binion; she | 8 | | attended Bren Mawr Elementary School and graduated from South | 9 | | Shore High School; she graduated from Chicago State University | 10 | | in 1984 with a degree in special education; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Tania Toler worked in a number of positions for | 12 | | Habilitative Systems, Inc., eventually joining the ARCH | 13 | | Program, where she spent 14 years; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Tania Toler had a passion for Christmas and | 15 | | single-handedly created many Christmas family traditions; she | 16 | | was very creative and artistic, creating numerous ceramic | 17 | | pieces, performing with dance groups, and displaying her | 18 | | artwork at local fairs; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Tania Toler was preceded in death by her father, | 20 | | Frederick Toler; her brother, Rodney Toler; and her | 21 | | grandmother, Beth Lillian Walker Anderson; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Tania Toler is survived by her son, Terry Toler | 2 | | (Stephanie); her grandson, Xavier Toler; her sister, Janeene | 3 | | Toler Greene; her uncles, Herbert Anderson and Bruce Anderson; | 4 | | her aunts, Myra Williams, Beverly Millison (Robert), and Lisa | 5 | | Anderson; her nephews, Keith and Brandon; her step-father, | 6 | | Billy Binion; and many other family members and friends; | 7 | | therefore, be it
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 9 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 10 | | Tania Lynn Toler, and extend our sincere condolences to her | 11 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 12 | | further
