| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Ann Panico, who passed away on February | 4 | | 15, 2016; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Ann Panico was born in Chicago on July 6, 1926; | 6 | | she later moved to Berwyn and lived in Green Oaks for the past | 7 | | 30 years; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Ann Panico was the founder and owner of Cafe | 9 | | Pomigliano "Trattoria" in Libertyville, where she was known for | 10 | | her homemade recipes; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Ann Panico was a member of St. Joseph Parish in | 12 | | Libertyville; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Ann Panico was preceded in death by her husband, | 14 | | Patsy; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Ann Panico is survived by her 2 children, Patty | 16 | | (Nick) Saladino and Anthony (Deanna) Panico; her 7 | 17 | | grandchildren, Ann Marie (Marc) Grote, Danielle (Jason) | 18 | | Wegener, Matea Ann Panico, Pasquale A. Panico, Santino Panico, | 19 | | Michael Panico, and Dominic Panico; and her 3 | 20 | | great-grandchildren, Vincent, Nicholas, and Anthony; |

| 2 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 3 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 4 | | Ann Panico, and extend our sincere condolences to her family, | 5 | | friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
| 6 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 7 | | presented to the family of Ann Panico as an expression of our | 8 | | deepest sympathy.
