| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Mary E. Sekich, formerly of Wildwood, who | 4 | | passed away on June 17, 2016; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Mary Sekich was born in Waukegan to Harry and | 6 | | Hazel Ross (McDaniel) on February 6, 1932; she graduated from | 7 | | Waukegan High School in 1951; she married Mike Sekich in | 8 | | Honolulu, Hawaii on January 5, 1952; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Mary Sekich worked for the Globe Department store | 10 | | in downtown Waukegan, her first job; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Mary Sekich was preceded in death by her parents; | 12 | | her sons, Robert and William; her husband of 51 years, Mike; | 13 | | and her great-grandson, Zachary Anton; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Mary Sekich is survived by her sons, Michael | 15 | | (Teresa) and James (Kelly); her daughter, Kathleen Sekich; her | 16 | | grandchildren, Dawn Brigman, Dana Sekich, Debra Aker, and | 17 | | Cassie Sekich; and her great-grandchildren, Lillian Moran, | 18 | | Abygail Brigman, Madeline Brigman, and Larkin Crandall; | 19 | | therefore, be it
