| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Arthur William Kuhlman of Hebron, who | 4 | | passed away on October 25, 2016; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Arthur Kuhlman was born in Bensenville to Arthur | 6 | | and Rose (Reetz) Kuhlman on May 20, 1933; he worked on the | 7 | | family farm with his parents and brothers until he joined the | 8 | | United States Army in 1953; he was stationed in Fort Lewis in | 9 | | Washington; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Arthur Kuhlman returned to the family farm in | 11 | | 1955; he married the love of his life, Marlene Miller, on June | 12 | | 13, 1959; they settled in Hebron; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Arthur Kuhlman enjoyed spending time with his | 14 | | family, woodworking, bowling, golfing, and his garden; he had a | 15 | | knack for fixing just about anything; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Arthur Kuhlman is survived by his wife of 57 | 17 | | years, Marlene Kuhlman; his daughters, LeAnne (James) Bigelow, | 18 | | and Laurel (David) Tenhagen; his grandchildren, Daniel and | 19 | | Jason Bigelow, and Landon, Taylor, and Alex Tenhagen; his | 20 | | brothers, Ray (Irene) Kuhlman, and Marvin Kuhlman; his | 21 | | brother-in-law, Donald Miller; his sister-in-law, Alice |
