1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 270
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 270 as follows:

3 on page 1, by replacing lines 9 and 10 with the following:
4     ""Independent agency" means:
5         (1) for a unit of local government a law enforcement
6     agency of another unit of local government other than the
7     unit of local government of the law enforcement agency that
8     employs the officer accused of sexual assault; or
9         (2) for a State law enforcement agency a law
10     enforcement agency of the county or unit of local
11     government in which the alleged misconduct occurred.".
