1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4790
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4790 on page 1,
3 immediately below line 5, by inserting the following:

4 "Section 2. Definitions. "Compost-amended soil" means soil
5 that has been mixed with compost produced with source-separated
6 landscape waste or a mixture of both source-separated landscape
7 waste and source-separated food scraps to meet an organic
8 matter content of 25%, and the compost component meets the
9 certification requirements of the U.S. Composting Council's
10 Seal of Testing Assurance program or any other equivalent,
11 nationally recognized program."; and

12 on page 1, line 8, after "soil", by inserting the following:
13 "for landscape related use".
