1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5573
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5573 on page 34,
3 line 19, by replacing "services" with "services, unless the
4 defendant was under 18 years of age at the time the offense was
5 committed"; and

6 on page 35, immediately below line 22, by inserting the
7 following:
8     "(d) If any provision of this Section or its application to
9 any person or circumstance is held invalid, the invalidity of
10 that provision does not affect any other provision or
11 application of this Section that can be given effect without
12 the invalid provision or application."; and

13 on page 52, immediately below line 16, by inserting the
14 following:
15     "(n) The provisions in this Section which allows a crime
16 victim to make a written and oral statement do not apply if the

1 defendant was under 18 years of age at the time the offense was
2 committed.
3     (o) If any provision of this Section or its application to
4 any person or circumstance is held invalid, the invalidity of
