| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Mark A. | 4 | | Adams of Peoria, who passed away on September 3, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Mark Adams was born in Peoria to J.C. and Betty | 6 | | Porter Adams on November 24, 1961; he graduated from Manual | 7 | | High School in 1979, where he played on the 1975-1977 football | 8 | | teams inducted into the Greater Peoria Sports Hall of Fame; he | 9 | | attended Triton College; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Mark Adams worked at the Youth Farm in Peoria | 11 | | County for many years, retiring as a coordinator; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Mark Adams enjoyed weightlifting; his personal | 13 | | best was 500 pounds; he was a loving, compassionate and | 14 | | independent man known for his mischievous wit and his | 15 | | bar-be-que; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Mark Adams was preceded in death by his parents; | 17 | | his brother, Charlie; and his sister, Gloria; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Mark Adams is survived by his daughter, Dominique | 19 | | Adams; his son, Jordan C. Brown-Adams; his granddaughter, | 20 | | Jordyn Adams-Hardin; his significant other, Alesia Wilkinson; |

| 1 | | his sisters, Pam Adams, Jessica Williams, Portia Adams, and | 2 | | Tanya Adams; and a large, extended family who loved him dearly; | 3 | | therefore, be it
| 4 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | 5 | | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | 6 | | mourn the passing of Mark A. Adams, and extend our sincere | 7 | | condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved | 8 | | him; and be it further
| 9 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 10 | | presented to the family of Mark Adams as an expression of our | 11 | | deepest sympathy.
