| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Scott B. | 4 | | Brundige of Geneva, who passed away on October 31, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Scott Brundige was born in Geneva to Paul and Mary | 6 | | Jane (Scott) Brundige; he served in the U.S. Navy; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Scott Brundige worked as a Geneva police officer | 8 | | for over 28 years, retiring as chief of police in 1979; after | 9 | | retirement, he worked as a deputy clerk for the Kane County | 10 | | Circuit Clerk's office; and | 11 | | WHEREAS, Scott Brundige was the project director for what | 12 | | became Tri-Com Central Dispatch for Batavia, Geneva, St. | 13 | | Charles, and other agencies; his work to establish the Tri-Com | 14 | | 911 system involved traveling to Washington, D.C. to work with | 15 | | the Federal Communications Commission; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Scott Brundige was a long-time member of St. Peter | 17 | | Catholic Church, where he served as an usher for many years; | 18 | | his favorite pastime was spending time with his family; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Scott Brundige was preceded in death by his | 20 | | parents; his grandson, Scott; his daughter, Carla; and his |

| 1 | | wife, Deloris; and
| 2 | | WHEREAS, Scott Brundige is survived by his children, | 3 | | Marijane (Gary) Freier, Kathy (Richard) Tornberg, and Jennifer | 4 | | Brundige; his grandchildren, Tracey Freier and Carl (Heidi); | 5 | | his great-grandson, Aaron; his friend, Beverly Larkin; and | 6 | | numerous other friends and family; therefore, be it
| 7 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | 8 | | HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | 9 | | mourn the passing of Scott B. Brundige and extend our sincere | 10 | | condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved | 11 | | him; and be it further
| 12 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 13 | | presented to the family of Scott Brundige as an expression of | 14 | | our deepest sympathy.
