| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Margaret Leigh Cole of St. Albans, who | 4 | | passed away on January 15, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Margaret Cole was born in Keith, West Virginia to | 6 | | James Elmer and Mandy Mary Ball Gundy on January 15, 1930; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Margaret Cole was the wife of a West Virginia coal | 8 | | miner, a mother of five, and a homemaker; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Margaret Cole was truly a loving and caring mother | 10 | | and grandmother; she was attentive and persistent in all that | 11 | | she did; and | 12 | | WHEREAS, Margaret Cole enjoyed Christmas in winter, | 13 | | Mountaineer football in the fall, crocuses in springtime and | 14 | | summer, and spending time with her dog, Molly; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Margaret Cole was preceded in death by her | 16 | | parents; her husband, Harold Ray Sr.; and her son, Harold Ray | 17 | | Jr.; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Margaret Cole is survived by her sons, James | 19 | | (Diana) and David Cole; her daughters, Diedra (Vito) Randazzo, |

| 3 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 4 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 5 | | Margaret Leigh Cole, and extend our sincere condolences to her | 6 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 7 | | further
| 8 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 9 | | presented to the family of Margaret Cole as an expression of | 10 | | our deepest sympathy.
