| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Larry Joseph Bina of Perry, who passed | 4 | | away on January 30, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Larry Bina was born to George and Emma (Oborny) | 6 | | Bina outside of Lincolnville, Kansas on February 28, 1941; he | 7 | | married Marsha (Lidgard) Fernandes on June 29, 1996; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Larry Bina helped on the family farm and operated | 9 | | bulldozers for 45 years, eventually starting his own excavation | 10 | | company, Bina Dozer Service; during the 1990s, he also began | 11 | | raising emus on his Twin Feathers Emu Ranch; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Larry Bina loved spending time watching his | 13 | | grandkids play sports and sing in school programs; he passed | 14 | | his love of the outdoors and guns along to them and his | 15 | | daughters; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Larry Bina was preceded in death by his parents; | 17 | | his sister, Mary Ann Strecker; his mother-in-law, Mardell | 18 | | (Bill) Lidgard; and his brother-in-law, Lloyd Patterson; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Larry Bina is survived by his wife, Marsha; his | 20 | | stepdaughters, Yvette (John) West, Patti (Joe) Saxer, and Alisa |

| 5 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 6 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 7 | | Larry Joseph Bina, and extend our sincere condolences to his | 8 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 9 | | further
