| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Lynnette F. Ludwigsen of Crystal Lake, | 4 | | who passed away on February 18, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Lynnette Ludwigsen was born in Blue Earth, | 6 | | Minnesota to Leonard and LaVonne (Olson) Beenken on December 3, | 7 | | 1951; she graduated from Logan High School in LaCrosse | 8 | | Wisconsin in 1970 and married Robert W. Ludwigsen in Crystal | 9 | | Lake on March 29, 1975; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Lynnette Ludwigsen received her master's degree | 11 | | in education from Northern Illinois University; she first | 12 | | taught English at McHenry West High School where she met her | 13 | | devoted husband; after spending many years lovingly focused on | 14 | | raising her sons, she returned to teaching, first at MCC, then | 15 | | at Marian Central High School; she retired after several years | 16 | | at Northwood Middle School in Woodstock; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Lynnette Ludwigsen loved camping and exploring | 18 | | the world, particularly scenic Route 66; she had many other | 19 | | interests and talents, such as quilting, knitting, arts and | 20 | | crafts, gardening, and spending time with her book club; a | 21 | | favorite pastime was proudly displaying her handiworks in craft | 22 | | shows with her mother; most of all, she enjoyed spending time |

| 1 | | with her loved ones and family members, particularly her | 2 | | granddaughters; and
| 3 | | WHEREAS, Lynnette Ludwigsen is survived by her parents; her | 4 | | husband; her children, Robert L. Ludwigsen and Aaron Ludwigsen; | 5 | | two grandchildren, Anya and Annabelle Ludwigsen; three | 6 | | sisters, Sheryl Beenken Wohlf, Mary (Douglas) Leifheit, and | 7 | | Debra (William) Craig; three nieces, Rachael (Pierre) | 8 | | Letourneau, Emily Wohlf, and Nicole Leifheit; a nephew Paul | 9 | | (Holly) Leifheit; her uncles, Terry and Darwin Olson; her | 10 | | unofficial daughter, Jennifer Boksa Ludwigsen; many cousins; | 11 | | and her special friend, confidant, and caretaker, Betty Jean | 12 | | Stoltze; therefore, be it
| 13 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 14 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 15 | | Lynnette F. Ludwigsen, and extend our sincere condolences to | 16 | | her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 17 | | further
