SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Daniel L. Peak of East Moline, who passed away on February 14, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Daniel Peak was born in Moline to Donald and Norma Franklin Peak on April 4, 1954; and

WHEREAS, Daniel Peak was a very private person; he served in the United States Army in the 101st Airborne and was honorably discharged; he was a carpenter by trade and he cared for his mother the last three years of her life; and

WHEREAS, Daniel Peak was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, Daniel Peak is survived by his siblings, William Peak, Debra Peak, and Jayne Peak; and his nieces, Jessica Gilmore and Caity Peak; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Daniel L. Peak, and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Daniel Peak as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
