SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Theodore L. Huberts Sr. of East Moline, who passed away on April 13, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Theodore Huberts was born in Chicago to Arnold and Clara (Rosehagen) Huberts on August 19, 1930; he served in the United States Army and Navy Reserve and was a Korean War Veteran; he married Carol T. Stedman on November 28, 1953; and

WHEREAS, Theodore Huberts was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church of East Moline and sang with the Chordbusters; he enjoyed woodworking, talking with people, and loved being with his family; he will be sadly missed; and

WHEREAS, Theodore Huberts was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; two brothers; and one sister; and

WHEREAS, Theodore Huberts is survived by his children, Theodore (Bonnie) Huberts, Edwin Huberts, Steven Huberts, Pamela (Frank) Spilman, Amy Jo Huberts; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Theodore L. Huberts Sr. and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Theodore Huberts as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
