SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Feryl M. Cutkomp Sr. of Rock Island, who 
4passed away on July 24, 2017; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Feryl Cutkomp was born in Louisa County, Iowa to 
6Stanley and Edna (Wheeler) Cutkomp on July 4, 1937; he served 
7in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War and 
8married Mary Delcourt on August 1, 1962; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Feryl Cutkomp worked as a meat and poultry 
10inspector for the State of Illinois; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Feryl Cutkomp was an avid collector and loved to 
12dance and ride motorcycles; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Feryl Cutkomp was preceded in death by his parents 
14and six siblings; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Feryl Cutkomp is survived by his wife, Mary; his 
16children, Harold (Barb) Cutkomp, Darrel (Sue) Cutkomp, Carol 
17(Kent) Rathjen, Sheryl (Jeff) Tutsch, Fawn (Rick) Aldridge, and 
18Feryl (Sheryl) Cutkomp Jr.; many grandchildren and 
19great-grandchildren; and his brother, Stanley Cutkomp;

1    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
2ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
3Feryl M. Cutkomp Sr., and extend our sincere condolences to his 
4family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
5further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to  the family of  Feryl Cutkomp as an expression of 
8our deepest sympathy.
