SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Larry F. Love of Rock Island, who passed away on November 5, 2017; and

WHEREAS, Larry Love was born to Archie and Martha Ringer on December 11, 1937; he graduated from Arcola High School and the Worsham College of Mortuary Science; and

WHEREAS, Larry Love was a veteran of the United States Navy; during his military service, he was a hospitalman and Fleet Marine Force corpsman with the First Marine Division; he was a funeral director for over 50 years; and

WHEREAS, Larry Love was a lifelong fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Chicago Bears; he was an avid golfer and fisherman; he was well loved and will be greatly missed; and

WHEREAS, Larry Love was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Louise; and

WHEREAS, Larry Love is survived by his wife, Louise; his children, Michelle (Clint) and Michael (Michelle); and his grandchildren, Hannah, Stella, and Sophia Love; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Larry F. Love and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Larry Love as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
