| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Jannie Lee, who passed away on January | 4 | | 10, 2018; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Jannie Lee was born in Panola, Alabama to Lucinda | 6 | | Little and Louis Oliver on June 12, 1923; she married Standard | 7 | | Lee in 1940 and they settled in Chicago in 1946; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Jannie Lee joined the West Point Baptist Church in | 9 | | 1970, where she served on the Mother's Board; she later became | 10 | | a member of the South Park Baptist Church; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Jannie Lee was preceded in death by her parents; | 12 | | her husband, Standard; her siblings, James Oliver and Otis | 13 | | Little; and her children, Lonnie, Sadie "Pinkie", and Standard | 14 | | Jr. "Bay Bay"; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Jannie Lee is survived by her children, Dan, | 16 | | Jerry, Geraldine, Bob, Betty, Delores, Elaine, Wilbert, and | 17 | | Gloria; 36 grandchildren; 79 great-grandchildren; 39 | 18 | | great-great-grandchildren; and two | 19 | | great-great-great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
