SENATE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to 
3learn of the death of Robert S. "Bob" Early of Moline, who 
4passed away on March 1, 2018; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Bob Early was born in Moline to William and 
6Alberta (Gathje) Early on December 12, 1944; he was a veteran 
7of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War; he 
8married Jeanie Miller in 1965; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, Bob Early worked at the former Ringle Express and 
10Lee Early & Son Trucking; he retired from John Deere in 2004; 
11and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Bob Early was a member of the American Legion Post 
13227 in East Moline, the VVA Post 299, VFW Post 8890, MAVA, FOE 
14Post 1839, the Friends Circle, the Svithiod Club, the East End 
15Club, and the Viking Club; he enjoyed snowmobiling, boating, 
16and bowling; he especially loved his dogs, Abby, Max, and Frank 
17and Chuck the cat; and
  
 
18    WHEREAS, Bob Early was preceded in death by his brothers, 
19Jim and Tom; and
  
 
20    WHEREAS, Bob Early is survived by his son, Jeff; his

1sisters, Linda Klier and Sara (John) Robinson; his brother, 
2Rick Early; his nieces and nephews, Scott, Staci, and Stephanie 
3Early; his beloved family members, Collie, Cari, and Kirk 
4Olson; he enjoyed being Papa to, Kaylyn; therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL 
6ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of 
7Robert S. "Bob" Early and extend our sincere condolences to his 
8family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it 
9further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to the family of Robert S. "Bob" Early as an 
12expression of our deepest sympathy.
