SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of James S. "Jim" Clark of Moline, who
4passed away on September 23, 2018; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Jim Clark was born in Madrid, Missouri to Steven
6and Ludie (Burris) Clark on August 29, 1942; he served in the
7United States Army during the Korean Conflict; he married Paula
8McLean at the First Christian Church in East Moline on May 17,
92007; and
 
10    WHEREAS, Jim Clark retired from International Harvester,
11where he was an Inspector; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Jim Clark was an election judge; he enjoyed
13raising race horses and talking politics; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Jim Clark is survived by his wife, Paula; his
15children, Steve (Della) Clark and June (Daryl) Heidbreder; his
16four grandchildren; his great-grandchild; and his siblings,
17Cathy and Ron; as well as Paula's family; therefore, be it
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL
19ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
20James S. "Jim" Clark and extend our sincere condolences to his

1family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
2further
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
4presented to the family of Jim Clark as an expression of our
5deepest sympathy.
