1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2124
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2124 by replacing
3 line 20 on page 1 through line 10 on page 2 with the following:

4         "(1) The appointment, employment, compensation,
5     discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific
6     employees, specific individuals who serve as independent
7     contractors in a park, recreational, or educational
8     setting, or specific volunteers of the public body or legal
9     counsel for the public body, including hearing testimony on
10     a complaint lodged against an employee, a specific
11     individual who serves as an independent contractor in a
12     park, recreational, or educational setting, or a volunteer
13     of the public body or against legal counsel for the public
14     body to determine its validity. However, a meeting to
15     consider an increase in compensation to a specific employee
16     of a public body that is subject to the Local Government
17     Wage Increase Transparency Act may not be closed and shall

1     be open to the public and posted and held in accordance
2     with this Act.".
