1     AN ACT concerning health.

2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:

4     Section 5. The Food Handling Regulation Enforcement Act is
5 amended by adding Section 3.08 as follows:

6     (410 ILCS 625/3.08 new)
7     Sec. 3.08. Use of latex gloves prohibited.
8     (a) A food service establishment may not permit employees
9 to use latex gloves in the preparation and handling of food.
10     (b) To encourage compliance, a food service establishment
11 shall receive a notification of warning for the first violation
12 of this Section.
