| 4 | | "Section 5. The School Code is amended by adding Section |
| 5 | | 27-23.13 as follows:

| 6 | | (105 ILCS 5/27-23.13 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 27-23.13. Hunting safety program. A school district |
| 8 | | may offer its students an after-school or school program |
| 9 | | consisting of a course on hunting safety. The State Board of |
| 10 | | Education may prepare and make available to school boards |
| 11 | | resources regarding hunting safety that may be used as |
| 12 | | guidelines for the development of the program under this |
| 13 | | Section.

| 14 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 15 | | becoming law.".
