| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Emma M. | 4 | | Cannon of Peoria, who passed away on September 19, 2020; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Emma Cannon born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to | 6 | | John and Amanda "Emma" (Dunlop) Brereton on April 27, 1930; she | 7 | | married William Cannon in Peoria on June 19, 1948; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Emma Cannon was a longtime member of Holy Family | 9 | | Catholic Church; she was in the women's study group at Holy | 10 | | Family for over 45 years; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Emma Cannon was preceded in death by her husband, | 12 | | William, and her siblings, Marian Carbaugh and James Brereton; | 13 | | and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Emma Cannon is survived by her children, Laurie | 15 | | Covington, William (Marcia) Cannon, Greg (Christy) Cannon, and | 16 | | Terry (Beth) Renard; her grandchildren, Megan (Justin) Pierce, | 17 | | Scott (Courtney) Cannon, Ryan (Jeremy Miller) Cannon, Matt, | 18 | | Bryce, and Drew Cannon, Erica (Jason) Scheuman, and Kerry | 19 | | (Jerry) Richard; her step-grandson, Brett (Anna) Wieser; and 10 | 20 | | great-grandchildren; therefore, be it
