1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1215
2     AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1215 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:

4     "Section 5. The General Assembly Organization Act is
5 amended by changing Section 3 as follows:

6     (25 ILCS 5/3)  (from Ch. 63, par. 3)
7     Sec. 3. The~~The~~ Secretary of the Senate and Clerk of the
8 House of Representatives, at the close of each session of the
9 General Assembly, shall deliver to the Secretary of State all
10 books, bills, documents and papers in the possession of either
11 branch of the General Assembly, correctly labeled, folded and
12 classified, according to the subject matter of such documents
13 respectively; and the Secretary of State shall preserve the
14 same in his office.
