| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2091, AS AMENDED, | 3 | | with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment No. | 4 | | 2, as follows:
| 5 | | on page 2, by replacing lines 5 through 20 with the following: | 6 | | " "Eligible postsecondary institution" means any public | 7 | | institution in this State, including the University of | 8 | | Illinois, Southern Illinois University, Chicago State | 9 | | University, Eastern Illinois University, Governors State | 10 | | University, Illinois State University, Northeastern Illinois | 11 | | University, Northern Illinois University, and Western Illinois | 12 | | University, any public community college in this State, or any | 13 | | other public university, college, or community college now or | 14 | | hereafter established or authorized by the General Assembly. | 15 | | "Eligible postsecondary program" means a program that | 16 | | includes a curriculum of courses to maintain a classroom role | 17 | | in any child care or early childhood education setting, leading |

| 1 | | to a Child Development certificate or associate degree (CDA), | 2 | | an associate or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education | 3 | | (ECE), or a Professional Educator License (PEL). "; and | 4 | | on page 3, by replacing lines 3 through 8 with the following:
| 5 | | " to all eligible child care workers seeking to enroll in an | 6 | | eligible postsecondary program at an eligible postsecondary | 7 | | institution. All of the following terms and conditions "; and
