| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Kenneth Barham of Moline, who passed away | 4 | | on June 4, 2019; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Kenneth Barham was born in Metropolis to James and | 6 | | Janie (Sullivan) Barham on December 22, 1925; he served in the | 7 | | U.S. Army during the Korean War and married Jacqueline Marie | 8 | | Rice on November 16, 1947; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Kenneth Barham was co-owner of the LeClaire | 10 | | Friendly Service station in Moline; he was also a financial | 11 | | planner with Prime America and authored two books; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Kenneth Barham was a member of the Elks Club and | 13 | | the Cornerstone Christian Fellowship in Moline; he was a fan of | 14 | | the Chicago Cubs; he owned stock cars and enjoyed camping, | 15 | | fishing, boating, working in his yard, traveling to Arizona, | 16 | | and time with his family; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Kenneth Barham was preceded in death by his wife, | 18 | | Jacqueline; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Kenneth Barham is survived by his children, Dan | 20 | | Barham, Chuck (Jackie) Barham, and Sandy (Robert Steven) Rumph; |

| 1 | | his grandchildren, Ann (Chris) Peterson, Tim (Nicole) Barham, | 2 | | Katie Barham, Shelley Rumph, and Kevin Rumph; his | 3 | | great-grandchildren, Coral, Camry, Zach, and Elizabeth; and | 4 | | his sister, Betty June Barham; therefore, be it
| 5 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 6 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 7 | | Kenneth Barham and extend our sincere condolences to his | 8 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 9 | | further
