| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Lawrence E. Gulley of Rock Island, who | 4 | | passed away on February 21, 2020; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Lawrence Gulley was born in Benton to Lawrence J. | 6 | | and Josie (Aaron) Gulley on May 11, 1936; he married Bettie | 7 | | McGuire in 1956; he served in the U.S. Air Force during the | 8 | | Korean War; he married Mary Gulley in 1995; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Lawrence Gulley worked as a union steward for | 10 | | Wonder Bread bakeries; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Lawrence Gulley was preceded in death by his | 12 | | spouses; his son, Marshall Gulley; his parents; and his | 13 | | brothers, Arthur, Donald, and Charles Gulley; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Lawrence Gulley is survived by his children, Trudy | 15 | | (Marty) Lawson, Becky (Larry) Thorndyke, Julie Miller, and John | 16 | | (Jacqueline) Gulley; his stepdaughter, Shelly; his 11 | 17 | | grandchildren; his 14 great-grandchildren, with one more on the | 18 | | way; and his siblings, Mabel Harvey, Bill Gulley, and Robert | 19 | | Gulley; therefore, be it
