| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Stanley "Stan" Waldorf of Cordova, who | 4 | | passed away on July 14, 2020; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Stan Waldorf was born in Sparta, Wisconsin to Fred | 6 | | and Leona Brown Fiet on October 10, 1942; he graduated from | 7 | | Clinton High School in 1960 and served in the U.S. Marine Corps | 8 | | from 1960 to 1963; he married Emilie Jones; he later married | 9 | | Judy (DeCastecker) Burggraf in Rock Island on March 12, 1993; | 10 | | and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Stan Waldorf retired from ALCOA in 2005; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Stan Waldorf was an avid golfer at Byron Hills | 13 | | Golf Course with three holes in one to his credit, two of which | 14 | | were eight days apart; he was a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and | 15 | | was a member of East Moline Legion Post 227, where he served on | 16 | | the Honor Guard; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Stan Waldorf was preceded in death by his father, | 18 | | Fred Fiet; his mother, Leona; his adoptive father, Ron Waldorf; | 19 | | and his sister, Nancy Haefner; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Stan Waldorf is survived by his wife, Judy; his |

| 1 | | children, Jason, (Jennifer) Waldorf, Josh Waldorf, Cassie | 2 | | (Nick) Bultsma, Jay Burggraf (Stephanie Tubbs), and Janie (Tom) | 3 | | Bussert; his grandchildren, Caedence, Henry, Kamden, and | 4 | | Grayson Waldorf, Julia Bultsma, Dakota Serra-Burggraf, Olivia | 5 | | (Steven) Soseman, and Lila Bussert; his siblings, Bonnie (Gary) | 6 | | Schroeder, Roberta (Jim) Kuhn, and Annette (Steve) Snell; and | 7 | | his special sister, Patricia Denmon; therefore, be it
