| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Barry A. Duncan of Colona, who passed | 4 | | away on August 7, 2020; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Barry Duncan was born in Davenport, Iowa to George | 6 | | and Ruth Duncan on October 7, 1962; he married Lisa Burlingame | 7 | | in Bettendorf, Iowa on December 4, 1982, and they had three | 8 | | children; he served in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Army National | 9 | | Guard; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Barry Duncan worked at Harvest Day Bakery in Rock | 11 | | Island; he also worked at Ruan Trucking; most recently, he | 12 | | worked at John Deere Harvester Works in Davenport, Iowa; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Barry Duncan was a self-taught martial artist, | 14 | | specializing in nunchucks; he enjoyed playing disc golf and | 15 | | watching YouTube music videos; he loved his family, especially | 16 | | his beloved grandchildren, above everything else; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Barry Duncan was preceded in death by his father, | 18 | | George Duncan; his son, Shane Michael Duncan; and his | 19 | | father-in-law, T. James Burlingame; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Barry Duncan is survived by Lisa Duncan; his |

| 1 | | children, Chad Duncan and Amanda (Bobby) Barker; his | 2 | | grandchildren, Melony, Blake, and Connor Barker; his siblings, | 3 | | Brenda (Mike) Mills and Bryan Duncan; his stepmother, Mary | 4 | | Duncan; and his mother-in-law, Joy Burlingame; therefore, be it
| 5 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 6 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 7 | | Barry A. Duncan and extend our sincere condolences to his | 8 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 9 | | further
