| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Jean Lena, who passed away on August 28, | 4 | | 2020 at the age of 89; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Jean Lena was born in Chicago to Eugene and | 6 | | Eulalia Riccio; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Jean Lena was a proud, 35-year retired employee of | 8 | | West Suburban Hospital, where she is fondly remembered as | 9 | | "Operator Jean"; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Jean Lena enjoyed cooking for her family and | 11 | | friends and beautifying her home and garden; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Jean Lena was preceded in death by her husband of | 13 | | 53 years, Ronald; her granddaughter, Maggie Cartwright; and her | 14 | | sister, Marie Wolande; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Jean Lena is survived by her children, Karen | 16 | | Cartwright, and Richard, Tom, and Diane Lena; her | 17 | | grandchildren, Lauren Trisler, and Jean, Frank, Madeline, | 18 | | Charlie, Molly, Christine, Matthew, and Michael Lena; and her | 19 | | great-grandchildren, Jack, Audra, and Carmella; therefore, be | 20 | | it
