| 1 | | AN ACT concerning public employee benefits.

| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
|
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:
|
| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Pension Code is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 17-106.1 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (40 ILCS 5/17-106.1)
|
| 7 | | Sec. 17-106.1. Administrator. Administrator means a member |
| 8 | | who (i) is employed in a position that requires him or her to |
| 9 | | hold a professional educator license with an administrative |
| 10 | | endorsement Type 75 Certificate issued by the State Board of |
| 11 | | Education State Teacher Certification Board, (ii) is not on |
| 12 | | the Chicago teachers' or the Chicago charter school teachers' |
| 13 | | salary schedule, or (iii) is paid on an administrative |
| 14 | | payroll.
