5 ILCS 460/105 new
    Amends the State Designations Act. Provides that Penicillium chrysogenum NRRL 1951 is designated the official State microbe of the State of Illinois.

1     AN ACT concerning State government.

2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:

4     Section 5. The State Designations Act is amended by adding
5 Section 105 as follows:

6     (5 ILCS 460/105 new)
7     Sec. 105. State microbe. Penicillium chrysogenum NRRL 1951
8 is designated the official State microbe of the State of
9 Illinois.
