1     AN ACT concerning business.

2     Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:

4     Section 5. The Consumer Fraud and Deceptive Business
5 Practices Act is amended by adding Section 2AAAA as follows:

6     (815 ILCS 505/2AAAA new)
7     Sec. 2AAAA. Marketing of home insurance, maintenance, or
8 service products. It is an unlawful practice within the
9 meaning of this Act for any company to use the name or logo of
10 a public utility company in any manner to market and sell any
11 type of home insurance, maintenance, or service product.
