AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4412

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4412, AS AMENDED,
3with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment
4No. 1, on page 1, line 4, by deleting "Section 5. The State
5Officials and Employees Ethics Act"; and
 
6by deleting line 5 on page 1 through line 19 on page 7; and
 
7on page 8, by replacing line 15 through line 20 with the
8following:
9    "Sec. 1105. Power Price mitigation assistance. Subject to
10appropriation from such funds made available, the Department
11shall reimburse up to $200,000,000 to an eligible electric
12utility serving adversely impacted residential and small
13commercial customers pursuant to Section 16-107.7 of the
14Public Utilities Act. This Section is repealed December 31,
152024."; and

1on page 8, line 22, by replacing "Sections 5-5 and" with
2"Section"; and
 
3by deleting line 1 on page 9 through line 7 on page 13; and
 
4on page 15, by replacing lines 9 through 12 with the following:
5"that consider apprenticeship programs timeframes. The
6Department shall initially select a community-based provider
7in each region and shall subsequently select a community-based
8provider in each region every 3 years. The Department may
9take".
 
10on page 37, by deleting lines 16 and 17; and
 
11by replacing line 18 on page 37 through line 3 on page 38 with
12the following:
13"(6) The results of each Public Schools Carbon-Free Assessment
14shall be memorialized by the utility or by a third party acting
15on behalf of the utility in a non-confidential report form
16that includes recommendations and redacts all confidential
17information and shall be provided to the applicable public
18school. Each utility shall be required to retain a copy of each
19Public Schools Carbon-Free Assessment report and to provide
20confidential copies of each non-confidential report to the
21Illinois Power Agency and the Illinois Capital Development
22Board within 3 months of its completion. The Illinois Power

1Agency shall promptly make the results of each
2non-confidential report available for public inspection on its
3website."
 
4on page 42, line 8, by replacing "May" with "October"; and
 
5on page 43, line 5, by deleting "Upon receipt"; and
 
6on page 43, by deleting lines 6 through 9.
