| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Mark | 4 | | Eichaker, who passed away on August 17, 2021; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Mark Eichaker was born to Shirley and the late | 6 | | Herbert Eichaker in Chicago on September 9, 1957; and | 7 | | WHEREAS, Mark Eichaker was a United Postal Service driver, | 8 | | who had an infectious personality, a sense of humor, and a kind | 9 | | nature and sported a radiant smile; and | 10 | | WHEREAS, In his spare time, Mark Eichaker would volunteer | 11 | | at the Deer Grove Forest Preserve as he possessed a passion for | 12 | | preserving history and for enjoying time in nature; he would | 13 | | often take camping and fishing trips with his two sons; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, In addition to his love of nature, Mark Eichaker | 15 | | loved animals and raised many pets over the years, including | 16 | | his cat, Dennis, and his horse, Sherman Tank; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Mark Eichaker also had an ear for music, and he | 18 | | could often be found listening to Blues and Rock n' Roll and, | 19 | | at one point, was even found in a mosh pit at a summer concert; | 20 | | and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Mark Eichaker was known to have an abundance of | 2 | | energy; even in his later years after several strokes, he | 3 | | continued to venture to work sites in Deer Grove just to be | 4 | | among dear friends and peers; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Mark Eichaker was the proud husband of Carol, | 6 | | father of Matthew and Scott, grandfather of Colton, Hailey, | 7 | | and Jackson, and brother to Kurt and Dean; he will be dearly | 8 | | missed; therefore, be it
| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | 10 | | HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | 11 | | we mourn the passing of Mark Eichaker and extend our sincere | 12 | | condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved | 13 | | him; and be it further
| 14 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 15 | | presented to the family of Mark Eichaker as an expression of | 16 | | our deepest sympathy.
