| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of John E. Voltz of North Carolina, who | 4 | | passed away on March 16, 2021; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, John Voltz was born on April 5, 1948; he was the | 6 | | son of Edward and Frances (Zeller) Voltz; he served in the U.S. | 7 | | Army during the Vietnam War; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, John Voltz worked as a police officer on the Rock | 9 | | Island Arsenal until he retired in 2011; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, John Voltz enjoyed fishing, collecting cars, and | 11 | | hunting; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, John Voltz is survived by his sisters, Barbara | 13 | | (Thomas) Zaragoza, Elizabeth (James) Rogers, Mary Hough, and | 14 | | Andrea Voltz; his brother, Daniel (Theresa) Voltz; his | 15 | | nephews, Christopher Charles Zaragoza, Daniel Hough, Conrad | 16 | | Voltz, Andrew Voltz, and Thomas Zaragoza; and his nieces, | 17 | | Jessica Ann Myers, Ellen Taylor, and Jennifer Glacklin; | 18 | | therefore, be it
