SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Dan Mason Haddock of Rock Island, who passed away on January 11, 2022; and

WHEREAS, Dan Haddock was born to Randall and Faye Adele (Ross) Haddock in Davenport, Iowa on June 5, 1953; he graduated from Moline High School in 1971, during which he was a member and graduate of the Moline Boys Choir; he served in the U.S. Army in the 1970s, where he was a proud member of the Army Band; and

WHEREAS, Dan Haddock was an accomplished musician, and music was his life; and

WHEREAS, Dan Haddock worked in the maintenance department at the Rock Island County Courthouse later in his career; and

WHEREAS, Dan Haddock was preceded in death by his father, Randall; his sister, Rebecca; his grandparents; and his uncle, Dan Ross; and

WHEREAS, Dan Haddock is survived by his mother, Faye Adele Haddock; his sister, Regina (Kurt Fishwild) Haddock; his brother, Vincent (Connie) Haddock; his two nephews; and his niece; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Dan Mason Haddock and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Dan Haddock as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
