SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Edna I. Niebur of Edwardsville, who
4passed away on March 1, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Edna Niebur was born to August and Alice
6(Schlarmann) Huelsman in Breese on December 7, 1934; she
7married Melvin L. Niebur in Breese on June 18, 1953, and he
8preceded her in death on February 27, 1987; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Edna Niebur served as the pillar of her family
10since the passing of her husband 35 years ago; and
 
11    WHEREAS, Edna Niebur was a member of St. Boniface Catholic
12Church, the Daughters of Isabella, the Who's New Card Club,
13and the Anderson Hospital Auxiliary; and
 
14    WHEREAS, Edna Niebur was preceded in death by her parents;
15her husband; her son, Gary Niebur; her brother, Herbert "Hugo"
16Huelsman; and her sister, Genny Endres; and
 
17    WHEREAS, Edna Niebur is survived by her sons, Randy J.
18(Jo) Niebur and Mark Niebur; her daughters, Jan (Mark)
19Muckensturm and Gail Eagle (Roy); her daughter-in-law, Debby
20Niebur; her grandchildren, Micah Harlow, Ashley Sharp (Josh),

1Amanda Niebur, Abby Niebur, Andrew Niebur, and Noah Eagle; her
2two great-grandchildren; her step-grandchildren, Angela (Doug)
3Fitch, Jennifer Mitch (Jeff), Scott Eagle (Michelle), and
4Jamie Markovich (Jeff); her best friends and devoted sisters,
5Dorothy Hasenstab, Evelyn Pakosta, Pauline Billhartz, and
6Connie Street; therefore, be it
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
8ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
9Edna I. Niebur and extend our sincere condolences to her
10family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it
11further
 
12    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
13presented to the family of Edna Niebur as an expression of our
14deepest sympathy.
