| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of Albert Brasmer of Rock Island, who | 4 | | passed away on August 5, 2022; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Albert Brasmer was born in Cable to Daisy Brasmer | 6 | | on October 20, 1946; he served in the U.S. Army and married | 7 | | Callie Henderson in Rock Island on December 21, 1970; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Albert Brasmer retired from the USPS in 2016 | 9 | | after 21 years of working as a maintenance mechanic; prior to | 10 | | the USPS, he worked for Farmall International Harvester, | 11 | | Malco, Bear Manufacturing, and IBP; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Albert Brasmer was a kind and generous man and | 13 | | loved spending quality time with his family; he enjoyed | 14 | | fishing, camping, and traveling and was said to be a jack of | 15 | | all trades; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Albert Brasmer was preceded in death by his | 17 | | mother, Daisy Brasmer; his father; his brother, Edward | 18 | | Brasmer; and two nephews; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Albert Brasmer is survived by his wife, Callie; | 20 | | his children, Aaron Brasmer, Jeff (Donna) Brasmer, Cynthia |

| 6 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL | 7 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 8 | | Albert Brasmer and extend our sincere condolences to his | 9 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 10 | | further
