| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of Jennifer Susanne Everett of | 4 | | Washington, who passed away on November 13, 2022; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Jennifer Everett was born in Peoria to Mike and | 6 | | Ginny Everett on May 10, 1979; she graduated from Bradley | 7 | | University in Peoria with a Bachelor of Arts in English | 8 | | Language and Literature; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Jennifer Everett committed her life to serving | 10 | | children and adults, some with additional needs, alongside the | 11 | | global non-profit, One Collective; she spent nearly three | 12 | | years in Uzhhorod, Ukraine and was most recently serving in | 13 | | Cowley, England; her mission was to see a world where no one is | 14 | | invisible and where everyone has access to food, freedom, and | 15 | | forgiveness; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Jennifer Everett was a member of Crossroads | 17 | | United Methodist Church in Washington; and | 18 | | WHEREAS, Jennifer Everett was deeply committed to her | 19 | | faith; she loved immensely and cared for others in the most | 20 | | profound way; she positively impacted many lives; she will be | 21 | | deeply missed by her family, friends, and colleagues and |

| 1 | | remembered for her servant heart, her smile, and her | 2 | | incredible passion; and
| 3 | | WHEREAS, Jennifer Everett was preceded in death by an | 4 | | infant son, Benjamin Michael; her paternal grandfather, Marvin | 5 | | Everett; and her maternal grandparents, Richard and Vivian | 6 | | Doversberger; and
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Jennifer Everett is survived by her parents; her | 8 | | sister, Lacey Everett; her brother-in-law, Matthew Everett; | 9 | | her niece, Ellie Everett; her paternal grandmother, Phyllis | 10 | | Everett; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins; therefore, be it
| 11 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL | 12 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 13 | | Jennifer Susanne Everett and extend our sincere condolences to | 14 | | her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it | 15 | | further
