| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of Judy L. Oakford of Peoria, who passed | 4 | | away on December 26, 2022; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Judy Oakford was born to Frank A. and Ruth Little | 6 | | in Chicago on November 22, 1934; she married Arthur Oakford in | 7 | | Peoria on May 27, 1954; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Judy Oakford was a pillar in the Peoria community | 9 | | and touched the lives of many through her philanthropic | 10 | | efforts and passion for volunteering; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Judy Oakford was a devoted wife, mother, and | 12 | | friend who cherished her grandchildren and | 13 | | great-grandchildren; she lived a true and unselfish life full | 14 | | of gratitude; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Judy Oakford was preceded in death by his | 16 | | parents; her daughters, Lynne Anderson, Susan Champion, and | 17 | | Kitty Miller; her brother, Dennis Little; and her sister, Jane | 18 | | Little Milliken; and | 19 | | WHEREAS, Judy Oakford is survived by her husband; her | 20 | | daughter, Betsy (Tom) Hamilton; her two sons-in-laws, Steve |

condolences to her | 7 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved
