AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3744

2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3744 by replacing
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:
 
4    "Section 5. The Department of Central Management Services
5Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by
6adding Section 119 as follows:
 
7    (20 ILCS 405/119 new)
8    Sec. 119. Workforce data reporting. The Department shall
9annually report to the General Assembly the following
10characteristics of the State's workforce:
11        (1) The average age of the workforce, broken out by
12    agency.
13        (2) The average length of service of the workforce,
14    broken out by agency.
15        (3) The number of funded vacancies, broken out by
16    agency and broken out by month.

1        (4) The number of new hires, broken out by agency and
2    broken out by month.
3        (5) The number of separated employees with less than 5
4    years of service, broken out by agency and broken out by
5    month.
6        (6) The number of separated employees with at least 5
7    but less than 10 years of service, broken out by agency and
8    broken out by month.
9        (7) The number of separated employees with at least 10
10    but less than 20 years of service, broken out by agency and
11    broken out by month.
12        (8) The number of separated employees with at least 20
13    but less than 30 years of service, broken out by agency and
14    broken out by month.
15        (9) The number of separated employees with at least 30
16    years of service, broken out by agency and broken out by
17    month.
 
18    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect January
191, 2025.".
