| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Dorothy | 4 | | G. Furman of Antioch, who passed away on April 4, 2023; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Dorothy Furman was born to George and Kay Olsen | 6 | | in Chicago on August 25, 1932; she married Raymond L. | 7 | | Enzenbacher on July 29, 1951, and he preceded her in death on | 8 | | April 6, 1973; she married Thomas L. Furman on June 14, 1975, | 9 | | and he preceded her in death on June 24, 2011; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Dorothy Furman was an active member of the | 11 | | Antioch Senior Center, the Antique Bottle Club of Northern | 12 | | Illinois, and the senior bowling league at Lakes Bowl in Round | 13 | | Lake; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Dorothy Furman was very patriotic and an avid | 15 | | sports fan; she loved collecting antique collectibles and | 16 | | dolls; she enjoyed taking trips to the casinos and traveling | 17 | | with her family, especially to the Wisconsin Dells; her | 18 | | favorite types of birds were cardinals and eagles; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Dorothy Furman was preceded in death by her | 20 | | parents; her son, Erik Enzenbacher; her brother, George Olsen; | 21 | | and her sister, Alice Baldare; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Dorothy Furman is survived by her children, David | 2 | | Enzenbacher and Holly (Kelvyn) Stirk; her grandchildren, Chief | 3 | | Petty Officer Brett Andre (U.S. Navy), Corrina Delaney, Briana | 4 | | Enzenbacher, Kathleen Enzenbacher, Bransen (Brittany) Stirk, | 5 | | and Brooks Stirk; her great-grandchildren, Karissa, Kilee, and | 6 | | Leon Enzenbacher; her siblings, Kathy (Ted) Loef and Frank | 7 | | (Linda) Livorsi; her sister-in-law, Donna Olsen; and many | 8 | | extended family and friends; therefore, be it
| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE ONE | 10 | | HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that | 11 | | we mourn the passing of
Dorothy G. Furman and extend our | 12 | | sincere
condolences to her family, friends, and all who knew | 13 | | and loved
her; and be it further
