| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of Everett J. Fisher of Colona, who | 4 | | passed away on August 25, 2023; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Everett Fisher was born to Everett J. and Louise | 6 | | (Ruby) Fisher in Hannibal, Missouri on May 2, 1933; he served | 7 | | in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict; he married Betty | 8 | | Cooper in Rock Island on January 19, 1953; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Everett Fisher worked as a press operator at | 10 | | International Harvester for 30 years; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Everett Fisher enjoyed playing horseshoes and | 12 | | cornhole with friends; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Everett Fisher was preceded in death by his | 14 | | parents; his son, Everett S. Fisher; and his daughter, Toni | 15 | | Young; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Everett Fisher is survived by his wife; his | 17 | | daughter, Cindy Long; his grandchildren, Mark Long, Everett | 18 | | Fisher, Jacob Fisher, Sarah Fisher, Brennen Fisher, and Alyssa | 19 | | Fisher; his great-grandchildren, Emerson Long and Elisabeth | 20 | | Long; and his sister, Mary Talbot; therefore, be it
