| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Herbert L. Winkel of East Moline, who | 4 | | passed away on January 4, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Herbert Winkel was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to | 6 | | Herbert and Dorothy Wisinski Winkel on February 28, 1941; he | 7 | | served in the United States Air Force and married Mary Annette | 8 | | Begley in Miami Springs, Florida on September 1, 1984; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Herbert Winkel worked as a truck driver; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Herbert Winkel enjoyed watching NASCAR; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Herbert Winkel was preceded in death by his | 12 | | parents; his wife, Mary; and his sister, Sandi Winkel; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Herbert Winkel is survived by his children, Debra | 14 | | McDaniel, Angela Winkel, and Joseph Winkel; his grandson, Ryan | 15 | | Winkel; and his sister, Joan Carlson; therefore, be it
| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDREDTH GENERAL | 17 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 18 | | Herbert L. Winkel, and extend our sincere condolences to his | 19 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it |
