| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Peter George Daleiden of Aurora, who | 4 | | passed away on January 9, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Peter Daleiden was born in Aurora on July 23, | 6 | | 1938; he graduated from Marmion Military Academy in 1956 and | 7 | | the Worsham College of Mortuary Science in 1959; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Peter Daleiden was President and the third | 9 | | generation in his family to own the Daleiden Mortuary in | 10 | | Aurora; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Peter Daleiden was a member of Holy Angels Church | 12 | | in Aurora; he was a member of the Fourth Degree Knights of | 13 | | Columbus and the Gofer Club; he enjoyed cooking and traveling | 14 | | with his family; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Peter Daleiden was preceded in death by his | 16 | | mother, Carrie (Raab) Daleiden; his father and stepmother, | 17 | | George P. and Myrtle (Waltz) Daleiden; his father's third wife, | 18 | | Ann Daleiden; his uncle, Theodore "Ted"; his aunts, Hildegard, | 19 | | Angela, Teresa, and Olga; and his step-grandson, Alexander R. | 20 | | Yokosawa; and
