| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Pearl Lillian Mayfield, who passed away | 4 | | on January 20, 2017; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Pearl Mayfield was born to
Postel and Rosie | 6 | | Mayfield on January 21, 1945; she
graduated from North Chicago
| 7 | | Community High School and
was a lifelong resident of
Waukegan | 8 | | and North Chicago; and | 9 | | WHEREAS, Pearl Mayfield retired from Johnson Motors
and | 10 | | W.W. Grainier; after
retirement; she worked for
Sheridan Health | 11 | | for several
years; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Pearl Mayfield was affectionately known as "Lil | 13 | | Bird"; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Pearl Mayfield was preceded in death by her | 15 | | parents; her brother, William Mayfield; her children,
Renee | 16 | | Mayfield, and Antoinette Nicholson; and her beloved
grandson, | 17 | | Jonathan Wilkins; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Pearl Mayfield is survived by her
children, Rick | 19 | | (Myeshia) Coleman, Eugene Raymon Mayfield,
Rita (Wesley) | 20 | | Sneed, and Norman (Cynthia) Medle; her
adopted son, Bobby |
