| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Anne J. "Joan" (McKeon) Vollmer of | 4 | | Joliet, who passed away on January 8, 2017 at the age of 85; | 5 | | and
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Anne Vollmer was born in Joliet to William D. and | 7 | | Anna (Legan) McKeon on August 20, 1931; she remained a lifelong | 8 | | Joliet resident; she worked for Lieberman Jewelry as a clerk | 9 | | and purchaser for 31 years; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Anne Vollmer was a member of the Church of St. | 11 | | Jude; she was a loving, loyal, and devoted wife; she was an | 12 | | extremely nurturing and doting mother and grandmother; her | 13 | | character was that of kindness and peace; she was the quiet | 14 | | strength that kept the family together; she always remained | 15 | | loyal to the LaVerne and Dottie Brown family; she deeply loved | 16 | | and cherished her sisters and all of their extended families; | 17 | | she will be truly missed by all of her family and friends; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Anne Vollmer was preceded in death by her first | 19 | | husband, Wayne Brown; her second husband, LaVerne J. Vollmer; | 20 | | and her parents; and
| 21 | | WHEREAS, Anne Vollmer is survived by her four children, |
