| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of William F. "Bill" McCormick Jr. of | 4 | | Moline, who passed away on February 23, 2019; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Bill McCormick Jr. was born in Moline to Lavonne | 6 | | O. (Wolfe) and William F. McCormick Sr. on December 25, 1929; | 7 | | he was raised by his father and stepmother, Ione (Wainwright) | 8 | | McCormick; he attended schools in Rock Island and graduated | 9 | | from Rocky High in 1947; he served in the United States Army in | 10 | | Bingen am Rhien, Germany during the Korean War; he married | 11 | | Bonnie J. Lievens on November 5, 1960; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Bill McCormick Jr. retired from the former | 13 | | Desaulniers Printing Company after 43 years in the typesetting | 14 | | and plate departments; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Bill McCormick Jr. was preceded in death by his | 16 | | parents; his wife, Bonnie; his infant twin daughters; his | 17 | | sister, Lea Jones; and his half-sister, Frances "Chickie" | 18 | | Bollaert; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Bill McCormick Jr. is survived by his children, | 20 | | Dawn (Julie Brown-McCormick) McCormick and Brad (Bil Ingraham) | 21 | | McCormick; his sisters-in-law, Sandy Murrah, Pat Lievens, |
