| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened | 3 | | to learn of the death of Philip M. "Phil" Roller of Rock | 4 | | Island, who passed away on March 31, 2021; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Phil Roller was born in Peoria on January 1, | 6 | | 1943; he was the son of Sidney M. and Evelyn (Payne) Roller; he | 7 | | served in the U.S. Navy; he married Catherine Cervantes in | 8 | | Rock Island on September 30, 2005; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Phil Roller worked at EBE Technologies in East | 10 | | Moline; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Phil Roller enjoyed boating, fishing, playing | 12 | | cards, and gardening; and
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Phil Roller was preceded in death by his | 14 | | grandson, Jordan Schmidt, and nephew, Taylor George; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Phil Roller is survived by his wife, Cathy; his | 16 | | children, Matthew Roller, Nathan Roller, Aimee Schmidt, and | 17 | | Ryan Schmidt; his grandchildren, Sydney, August, Omega, and | 18 | | Lion; his sister, Gretchen (Ralph) Beazley; his brother, | 19 | | Thomas Roller; his nieces, Noel Mcutchen and Amy Peligrin; and | 20 | | his nephews, Perry George and Michael Roller; therefore, be it
